The key differences are the colour of the body and the material that the milk frother is made from: the "21.117W" model is equipped with a metallised milk frother.

Ordered the machine on Monday and it was delivered on Friday. No communication to let me know it was arriving (as it states) but fortunately we were home. Really pleased with how it all work except it has a European plug and no adapter was provided. Fortunately we had one otherwise would have been extremely frustrated not to have been able to use it!!! Am surprised I havent seen any other reviews mentioning this. No complaints about the actual coffee machine – excellent value for money.

I chose this machine because someone I know has one. It works well, once you are used to it’s ways. I give it 4 stars, and not 5, because of one or two drawbacks. The instructions are long, convoluted and, in at least one place, incorrect (or, at least, misleading.) The on-line instructions were better than the book that came with it. The water container is small for such a big machine. About 5 mugs of coffee per fill. It would last all day if you only have espresso though. After 3 weeks, the de-scale light came on ( I live in an area with very soft water) so I think de’Longhi are trying to sell their cleaning fluid. The grinder is a little noisy but that’s probably true of a lot of machines. Neil
