Nice piece of equipment. Finding it difficult to use as the filter is very hard to fit as I have a weak wrist. Also having trouble mastering the art of frothy milk. Very disappointed in its ease of use. Perhaps I will get used to it over time.

Great for my purposes, so far (1 month in). I’m not a full-on enthusiast or connoisseur but I think this is an excellent entry level machine. It looks good, built sturdy and has a small footprint so is very space efficient.
The portafilter port will be a little stiff at first, meaning you will need one hand holding the machine down when you put it in or take it out, but after a week or so it loosens up and becomes much easier. The only real negative I have found is that when using it to make two shots at once (splitting a double between two cups) the left one always gets a little bit more than the right one. It’s not a major issue for me, just a minor annoyance, but if you are more serious about your coffee it might be an issue for you (but then again, you’d probably get a higher end machine if that is you).

De Longhi EC 685.M, A very good price, a lovely machine, small, efficient, substantial, made to commercial quality. Very pleased with it. I had difficulty to get my payment card to go through the PayPal system, and a repeat when I tried to order some coffee beans, this needs altering.
