Hot and delicious winter drinks
Time spent at home can be incredibly cosy and filled with the most beautiful of moments. Take advantage of Coffee Friend’s recipes, try some of the most delicious hot winter drinks and enjoy the warmth they give you!
Classic hot chocolate
For the recipe, you’ll need:
Pour one scoop (28 g) of “Zuma” hot chocolate into a 300-ml “Loveramics” ceramic cup. Add a splash of hot water and mix into a smooth paste, then top with steamed milk, stirring as you pour. To make the drink sweeter, top it with some whipped cream, cocoa powder or mini marshmallows. If you’re feeling particularly bold, flavour the drink with a splash of Sweetbird “Chilli” syrup too: this combination is bound to pleasantly surprise you!
We recommend:
Chalo chai latte
Pour 2 tablespoons of your chosen “Chalo” chai latte powder into your favourite cup. Add 200 ml of hot water and 100 ml of heated milk of your choice. Flavour with some vanilla syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon!
Hazelnut latte
Gingerbread latte
Mix coffee with syrup, add a pinch of cinnamon and heat the mixture over low heat. Then pour it into a cup and add warm milk. If you prefer your drinks extra sweet, top with whipped cream, mini marshmallows or some more ground cinnamon!
Cinnamon cocoa
Pour milk into a small pot and heat it over medium heat. Put the remaining ingredients in a cup: cocoa, chocolate shavings, cinnamon and salt. Then pour the heated milk into a cup and mix well. Season the drink with more chocolate shavings or a pinch of nutmeg!
Christmas iced tea
In a small pot, mix tea with orange and pomegranate juice. Add orange slices and cinnamon sticks to the mixture. When the mixture comes to a boil, remove from heat and let it cool for about 15 minutes. Then strain the mixture and remove cinnamon sticks and orange slices from it. Pour the drink into a jar and let it cool for at least a few hours. Serve it with some ice cubes and add an orange slice or a cinnamon stick as a garnish!
Hot spiced tea
Any tea will work great for this recipe, so feel free to choose the desired flavour. First, brew your favourite tea and let it cool for a bit. In the meantime, prepare other ingredients: apple and orange slices, cinnamon sticks and your preferred toppings. Pour everything into a pot and heat the mixture over low heat for about 20 minutes while stirring from time to time. If you like your drinks sweeter, add a little honey. Then pour the drink into a cup and garnish it with an apple or orange slice.
